Hello,
New here, just joined minutes ago, I decided to try downloading one of the effects to start feeling out this system to see if I would want to buy it and it turned out to be a dzp file.
I have never heard of it before and I cannot find anything online to open it correctly. Is there a file opener download I need to get or is there a different avenue I need to use to see what it is that I am interested in?
Thanks in advance.
By the way, I wasn't sure of where to put this question, please feel free to move it if needed.

No worries fundreamer - the "How Do I" section seems to cover all bases.
A .dzp file can only be opened by PowerDirector & other CyberLink software - that may be why you've not heard of it before.
Installed with PD, there are lots of effects templates - particles, titles, PiP objects, menus and things. You can also download extra ones (made & shared by other users) from DirectorZone.
When you download them, they have a .dzp extension (except menus - .dzm). You have the option to open with PD or save...
Double clicking them will install them in PD so you can use them in your editing.
Cheers - Tony
