Hi sister Sunshine,

Don't you hate those error messages? I can't search the forum to look for some of your old posts to see that version and build of Power Director you have.

If memory serves me correctly, and as I age it doesn't serve me as well as I would like....you probably need to install the latest patch to your version of Power Director. I think that error was corrected in a patch. Here is a link to the patches:
http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdirector/patches_en_US.html

If all goes well, once the patch is installed the problem should be resolved...if not just post a followup and we can go to the next step.

Do you know how to check what you are currently using? Click on the Directors Chair icon in Power Director....then click HELP...then select ABOUT CYBERLINK POWER DIRECTOR....you should see some numbers, something like 8.00.2704...the 8 being the Version and the 2704 being the BUILD...if your build number is lower than the number of the patch...then you should update.

Hope this helps,

Kevin
